Dozens of production lines have been built in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and a series of refractory materials have been formed, which provides a larger space for the design and selection of refractory materials for new cement production lines according to different conditions and requirements.
In order to deepen the research on the varieties of refractories in glass kiln construction, China Building Materials Research Institute has also conducted a series of research work on the application of basic theories, such as the research on the erosion mechanism of cement clinker to basic refractory, the research on the crust, caking mechanism and clinker composition design of cement kiln materials, the research on the influence of alkali on cement production and properties, the research on the damage mechanism of high-alkali clinker to refractories in rotary kiln, and the research on the anti-crust mechanism in cement kiln containing zirconium high-alumina bricks. The research of the above topics has played an important guiding role in the research on the development of new varieties of refractories and the improvement of their properties, and has also cultivated a scientific research team with profound theoretical foundation and practical experience in the production and application of refractories.
During the Seventh Five-Year Plan period, we not only solved the self-sufficiency problem of kiln lining materials for newly-built precalcined cement kilns in China, but also met the needs of the development of cement industry. After entering the 1990s, the state attached great importance to the technological progress of refractory industry, and during the Eighth Five-Year Plan period and the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, three industry departments of metallurgy, building materials and light industry organized joint research.
