Denitrification of glass furnaces has always been a difficult problem in China. The successful application of SCR denitrification process in Wujiang CSG has broken through two firsts in China: the first SCR denitrification project in float glass industry; The first domestic high-temperature electrostatic precipitator is a milestone project of denitration in glass furnaces in China. There are primary and secondary measures to control NOx in glass kiln, and the secondary measures include SCR (selective catalytic reduction) and SNCR (non-selective catalytic reduction). According to the characteristics of float glass production process, SCR denitration technology and high temperature dust removal process are suitable for denitration of glass furnace flue gas. Due to glass raw materials and various additives, the content of alkali metal oxides in flue gas dust ash is high, which is an important cause of catalyst alkalosis. The adverse effects should be fully considered in the design of SCR system and the selection of catalyst. In order to prolong the service life of catalyst, a high-temperature electrostatic precipitator is set in front of the reactor.
