Some glass kiln construction projects have been included in the national development and reform commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's key industrial revitalization and technological transformation new central budget investment projects, which is one of the key energy-saving and emission-reduction projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, and the first all-oxygen combustion production line in China float glass industry.
After the project is put into production, it will form an annual production capacity of 3.37 million weight boxes of high-quality float glass and ultra-white glass. Through this transformation, many companies and their projects will reduce energy consumption by more than 22% in this production line, save 17,681 tons of standard coal annually, and greatly reduce the discharge of various pollutants, including the discharge of waste gas by more than 60%, the nitrogen oxides in waste gas by 80%-90%, and the smoke and dust by more than 50%. Compared with the traditional air-assisted combustion method, oxy-fuel combustion has the advantages of lower construction cost, low investment and low energy consumption, and is called the "second revolution" in the development history of glass melting technology.
In our country, some companies already have production lines of ultra-white glass with full oxygen combustion. We can see dozens of indicator lights on the huge control cabinet and more than 20 monitoring screens clearly showing the internal combustion of the closed production line.
